Norgard Designs is happy to include the work by Kamryn Shawron in our Featured Artist section. Kamryn is a multimedia maker from Ocoee, Florida. Graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Fibers, her work focuses on the integration of portraiture, embellishment and fibers. With themes rooted in both identity and disguises, she aims to embrace all that makes us human. With an interest in the tactile nature of our surroundings her body of work is influenced by candid moments of the conversations and people around her.
Each of these works is a 4″ x 6″ photograph. These images are then embellished with acrylic paint, wax crayon and then bead embroidered. Each work will come matted in an 8″ x 10″ matte with a 4″ x 6″ window (and with backing board for extra reinforcement) and then in a print sleeve for protection.
